First effects of dredging work visible

After several months of dredging work in the Zakitó Lagoon, the effect of this work is starting to become apparent. In the western end of the lagoon, the top layer of silt and sediment has now been removed, revealing white sand underneath and dramatically changing that section of the lagoon from a dark and murky body of water to a beautiful turquoise. We can't wait to see the rest of the lagoon take on this colour once our work is complete!
